The On Call BC Directory is comprised of two parts. A Directory and a Classified section. The Directory is a listing of businesses and people doing business on the internet and the Classifieds are ads of registered users wanting to buy and sell products. This service is completely free. You can find web pages - commercial, personal, community, and more - and an extensive source of information about the communities everywhere and in particular British Columbia. This service was recently introduced to provide a platform for ALL Internet users in the B.C. Interior and throughout the Pacific Northwest to present their products and services on Internet.
We invite everyone to be a part of it.
If you own or operate a business you can submit a FREE DIRECTORY LISTING in the appropriate section and once you have registered you can place Classified Ads. Your listing can be as simple as you name, e-mail address and phone number or a full description of your business. If you have a related web site you can hot link it to allow those searching easy access to your business online.
You can also select the categories that best suit your business and classified ads, and submit a description to provide a better indication of who you are and what you offer.
If you have a personal Internet account and would like to display information including e-mail or personal web site you can submit it to On Call BC and we will display it FREE OF CHARGE. Just go to the "login page" and you can get started.
Placing
Information
You can place Directory and Classified information by using
the following steps.
- Go to the login page by clicking on the Login button.
- Enter your email address and a password (one you can remember) for future use them press enter.
- Click into the area where you would like to place information. Once you have the form enter your information and then press enter.
- Go to the Login page and log out.
- Select The Latest button from the top of the page and your information should now appear.
Uploading
Pictures
Your
pictures must be in either gif or jpg format. Just about all picture manipulation
programs will save your pictures in these formats. You should preferably
use jpg as this will give you the best picture quality. Save these pictures
to somewhere on your computer, make a note of the address. Then it is
simply a matter of clicking the Browse button and locating the pictures
on your computer. The program will do the rest.
Updating
Information
If you have placed a Directory Listing or a Classified Ad and would like
to update or change it just click on the Login button and enter your email
and password. Proceed to the area you would like to update and make the
changes. Be sure to post them when you are done.

A key feature of On Call BC is the searchable database that allows visitors to search by any of the above mentioned identifiers. The general search will find anything related to the search query. This provides quick and accurate results.
Our goal is to create a place on the Internet where our users, and Internet users anywhere, can find out about businesses and products in Kamloops and beyond.
