Dial up access is for users who send e-mail and mainly use the internet for entertainment to send and receive files, pictures, or documents. The digital dial-up access that OCIS currently provides is very effective for voice, text and the resolution of graphics that you will require on-line.

Wireless is for users interested in full motion video, high resolution graphics and/or high speed data transmission. Wireless brings you multimedia and a variety of extremely fast download and transmit speeds.

How Do I Sign Up For Wireless?

To sign up for Wireless go to the secure on-line form at the bottom of this page or visit our head office at 1158-8th Street in Kamloops. If you have any questions call (250) 376-3858 and ask for an Wireless representative. To ensure the earliest available installation date make sure that you completely fill out the on-line form and submit your order. The minimum required subscription for the service is 12 months. ( Additional charges will apply with early cancellation).

Can I Get Wireless At My Home Or Business

The Wireless service area currently includes Kamloops North Shore, Batchelor Heights, Kamloops South Shore, Valleyview, Kamloops Indian Reserve and Lower Aberdeen. A pre connection site inspection is required to be 100% certain your location is in the serving area.

OCIS is in the process of extending the current service areas in Kamloops. What Are My Payment Options?

There are several payment options currently available--monthly pre-authorized with VISA, Mastercard or Chequing account or pay for the year in advance. If you are currently subscribed to one of our dial-up plans we will apply any prepaid credit towards your Wireless service.
