| OPTION 1: PCD card solution With this option a PCD card is installed in a PC or laptop at the customer location to deliver high speed Internet. Cabling is run from the rooftop antennae to the PC and it is preferable that the antenna be situated as close as possible (within 60 ft). If there is a network in place this option requires that the PC operate as the router. This solution is not an Ethernet solution and requires the availability of a router to distribute the signal to more than one computer. This solution also requires an on-site administrator should the PC fail. The benefit to the end user of the PCD card versus an external radio is the reduced cost. INSTALLATION OPTIONS:
OPTION 2: Small Network / Ethernet Solution With this option an external SA-10 Breezecom Radio is installed at the customer location to deliver high speed Internet. Cabling is run from the rooftop antennae to this unit and again it is preferable that the antenna be situated close to the Radio. If there is a network in place this option requires that the end user have a hub or router to connect each PC on the network. This solution is an Ethernet solution and does not require the use of a PC to act as a router. This solution also allows for easy network expansion and does not require the availability of an on-site administrator. The end user also has the ability to easily increase the capacity of the connection. INSTALLATION OPTIONS:
OPTION 3: *Mutli-tenant End User / Ethernet Solution The set-up for this option is similar to option 2. This option offers the ability to connect up to 50 separate end users within a building to the network. This option requires that a radio and a router (with a built in firewall) be installed in a central location in the building and each office (client) will be hardwired to this central location. This option also allows end users to connect to the access point in their office network by installing a PC card on their computer eliminating the need to hardwire. The benefit of this solution is that it allows end users the ability to share infrastructure costs. An additional benefit is that new users can be added to the network easily. It also offers built-in security for each end user by securing their data from other users on the network. The installation costs are shared amongst the tenants and each tenant is responsible for their cabling and PC card purchases. Approximate INSTALLATION: $ 1531.80 (shared install cost- by quote only) ***Tenants of Partnership Agreements normally pay between $99.00 and $199.00 for installation with a one year commitment** |
